Book Club / Readers
There are two groups so neither will be too large and discussion will be easier. The Miller Readers meets on the second Monday of the month and The Miller Book Club on the third. New members are very welcome to either group.
2nd and 3rd Mondays at 2pm - Green Room
Bridge
We use the ACOL System and our only aim is to have a carefree afternoon of friendly Bridge.
Every Saturday - Green Room, 1.30-4.30pm
Camcorder Club
Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there are ample opportunities for learning and developing personal as well as group video-making skills.
Every Friday - Studio, 7.30pm
Crafts
A very sociable gathering where members work on various needlecrafts, greetings cards and assorted items.
Every Tuesday - Green Room, 1.45pm
Film Club
The Miller Centre Film Club shows a selection of films from the latest blockbusters to classic favourites. Films are presented each month on a Monday evening.
Members of The Miller Centre Theatre Company and the Miller Centre Club have priority booking for these films which start at 8pm. Tickets are £4 each. Booking forms are sent to members with the newsletter.

Folk Dancing
We enjoy music, dance & chatter giving us exercise for the mind, body & mouth.
The movements of the dance are first walked through & then called during the dance. Some dances are simple but we try to throw in the odd more complicated one to make us think a bit more. Everyone is welcome, beginners or more experienced. So please come to have a fun time.

Painting (both Oil and Water Colour)
We are two small friendly groups where everybody does their own trhing but with the guidance of a tutor. Sometimes we have a still life set up

Pilates
A good way for young or not so young to gently exercise. Modern Pilates with teacher Denise Gilman.

Poetry Group
An enjoyable afternoon when Members study the works of various poets and join in the reading.
First Friday of the Month - Green Room, 2pm
Scrabble
The club welcomes players of all standards for friendly games. If you just play at home then this is the opportunity to meet other scrabblers who will make you most welcome. Various competitions are organised for those interested in competitive play and there is a regular newsletter.
Every Wednesday - Green Room, 1.30-4pm
Table Tennis
The Table Tennis Club has two tables and players are of varying standards including a number who still play in the local League.
The accent, however, is on enjoyment, healthy exercise & friendly rivalry. No matter what standard you are you will be made welcome.
Every Thursday (10:30am-12:30pm) and Friday (10:00am-12:00pm) - Studio
Tai Chi
Learn some Tai Chi moves for more flexibility, better focus and concentration. Relax more and sleep better. Feel more centred and in control and much more!

Trivial Teas
An occasional fun quiz afternoon with a good tea thrown in.

Wardrobe Sewing Group
A busy, friendly group whose main purpose is to make costumes for productions as required & altering existing ones as necessary. In addition to this the group make & maintain costumes for the Hire Dept.

Yoga
"Feel good Yoga" with teacher Dimi Booth is held weekly.
Suitable for all ages and levels of experience, yoga is an ideal way to improve strength, flexibility, co-ordination, balance, breathing and deep relaxation.
